Interview: Sarah Wayne Callies, The Walking Dead: From doubt to global virus
There were doubters when AMC's zombie series first launched, says the actress: but now, they're fans!
“When I was here two years ago, we must have done a hundred interviews with people saying ‘…so, zombies? OK, good luck!’… Now, a lot of those people are fans of the show!”
Two years after the series’ first visit to MIPCOM, Sarah Wayne Callies, who plays Lori in AMC zombie drama The Walking Dead, talks about the show’s success — it now screens in over 130 countries — and season three, where the survivor group’s dynamics — and the group itself — are seriously challenged.
