Interview: Berlin Day and Night, the show saved by social media
This German "constructed reality" show failed on TV but exploded on Facebook, its star & producer explained to MIPBlog
MIPBlog spoke to Ole Peters, singer and star of “realtainment” series Berlin Day and Night, and Felix Wessler of producer Filmpool, about how this “constructed reality” (i.e. scripted reality with actors) originally bombed on German TV, only to be saved later on by its massive Facebook following. Stardom has since ensued for Ole inparticular, whose debut single scored 40,000 iTunes downloads in its first week of release!
Berlin Day and Night was brought to MIPCOM by All3Media’s German subsidiary, MME Moviement.
